A Mandarin-speaking small group of around 40 people was started at North Edmonton Alliance Church, later becoming the Mandarin Ministry in 1997. 

2005 年 4 月 3 日

The Mandarin and English ministries of NEAC were transplanted, and held church services in the gymnasium and classrooms of Kildare Elementary School until 2011. The church plant was named North Edmonton Living Fountain Alliance Church. 

2008 年 1 月 1 日 

Living Fountain Alliance Church became its own independent church!

2008 年 10 月 28 日

A 5-acre plot of land was purchased with the goal of building our own church for ministry,  due to the gymnasium at Kildare School becoming crowded with over 150 attendees. 

2011 年 7 月 1 日 

We instead purchased a church building at 9015 - 132 Avenue NW with the assistance of the Western District of the Alliance Canada. This building would become where we have established ourselves today. 

2011 年 8 月 7 日

The first Sunday Service was held in the new (and current) building. 

2012 年 2 月 12 日 

Living Fountain Alliance Church has its church dedication service. 

2023 年

ELFAC celebrates its 15th anniversary

2024 年 

Our original senior pastor, Reverend Steven Yong, retired, with Rev. Morris Mao taking the role of lead pastor from July 1, 2024. 

Present Day

Living Fountain continues to offer both English and Mandarin worship services and Sunday schools, a developing children’s program, as well as prayer meetings and fellowships for all ages including seniors, youth, and young adults to a congregation of around 100, with our various ministries and events reaching over 200 people throughout the year.
